Many items we place in the garbage could be repaired and reused. Joliet Junior College is offering a chance for residents to bring items to a FREE event to explore repair options on Saturday, April 18 at their Romeoville Campus.
Do you have clothes in need of minor repair or a bike with an issue? Joliet Junior College (JJC) is offering a FREE repair opportunity, sponsored in part by Will County's Resource Recovery and Energy Division. Keep items out of the landfill and save money.
Some items that may be repaired include:
- Small electric appliances
- Clothing and textiles
- Furniture
- Toys
- Bicycles and carts
- Simple repairs with glue, string, and tape
- Jewelry
