Collection of nearly all types of electronics and household chemicals, hazardous materials and liquids. All participants have been asked to make an APPOINTMENT. There is a limit of 3 TVs per vehicle, maximum 15 gallons of paint, and ID required. We offer service to all Will County residents and all residents of any communities partially within Will County.

Electronic items accepted include: televisions (limit 3 per vehicle), computers, laptops, tablets, notebooks, monitors, printers, copiers, mice, speakers, video cameras, telephones, answering machines, microwaves, radios, stereos, vacuum cleaners, toaster ovens, blenders (no glass), coffee makers (no glass), power tools, batteries (alkaline, rechargeable, lithium) and more. Household hazardous items accepted include: all types of paints/stains (limit 15 gallons per vehicle), paint thinners, solvents, drain cleaners, cleaning products, mercury & mercury items, pesticides, lawn & garden chemicals and fertilizers, used oil, used oil filters, old gasoline, antifreeze, automotive & boat batteries, fluorescent light bulbs (limit 15 per vehicle), compact fluorescent bulbs, pool chemicals, driveway sealer, and more. Items NOT accepted include: fireworks/explosives, agricultural wastes, fire extinguishers, ammunition (check with your local police department), radioactive material, business or institutional wastes, controlled substances, regular garbage, tires, smoke or carbon monoxide detectors, medical waste/sharps, air conditioners or appliances, electronic exercise equiptment, wooden speakers, dehumidifiers, and more. Electronics are taken before household hazardous waste. Please pack your vehicle accordingly.
