Events Summary

NuMark Credit Union is offering all residents an opportunity to shred confidential documents at their Tinley Park location. Please bring confidential papers with social security, bank or credit card numbers on them. This event is not intended for junk mail, magazines or newspaper without confidential information. Limit of 2 boxes per household. All shredded paper will be recycled.

Kidzfest is a FREE interactive event for children and adults in downtown Joliet. Tables are set up in the street with give away items, educational fun activities and games. A DJ offers dance music and a few contests. Will County offers a booth with recycling, water conservation, and water conservation games. Take a chance and you may win a frisbee or a recycled magnet or blue jean pencil!

Will County and the City of Joliet have teamed up with the Slammers to offer plenty of ways to score by reducing water use. Free giveaways and chances to win some valuable prizes throughout the game. Admission cost starts at $9 for lawn and $15 for seats the day of the game. Be sure to complete the pledge card and send in prior to the game or at the game for your chance to win a prize.

Collection of nearly all types of electronics and household chemicals, hazardous materials and liquids. There is a limit of 2 TVs and 15 gallons of paint per vehicle. ID required. We offer service to all Will County residents and all residents outside of Will that reside in any communities partially within Will County.
