Frankfort Square Park District - Earth Celebration 2012

The Frankfort Square Park District will be offering an Earth Celebration at the Community Center and Island Prairie Nature Center from 1pm to 4pm. Activities will be held rain or shine.
The Frankfort Square Park District will be offering their fourth annual celebration at the Community Center and Island Prairie Nature Center (7540 W. Braemar Lane) from 1pm to 4pm. Activities inside and outside include:
A live bald eagle from Save Our American Raptors
Explore Green Infrastructure with interpretive garden tour
Children’s hands-on activities
Eco-friendly exhibitors
Bring a white t-shirt to tye-dye
Sale of Rain Barrels ($75) and
Composters ($150) from the Will/South Cook Water & Soil Conservation District
Will County's Resource Recovery and Energy Division will be on-site to offer information on year-round recycling and reuse opportunities.
