Textile Collection at the County Office Building Monday through Friday during normal business hours in ccoperation with St. Vincent DePaul. This event will accept clothing, tableclothes, linens, drapes, towels, shoes, and more. Bring items for reuse and recycling. See Scott Slocum from WJOL AM1340 on Friday morning 6am-9:00am

Bring unwanted household chemicals such as oil-based paint, stains and variishes, along with oil, antifreeze, old gasoline, brake fluid, pesticides, fertilizers, cleaning products and more to this one-day collection event. It is free of charge for Will County residents. Mercury and most mercury containing items are accepted. Other items include: pool chemicals, recharagable batteries, lead-acid batteries, compact fluorescent lights, aerosol products and lawn chemicals.

Will County is providing a Document Destruction event on Saturday, May 30 at the University of St. Francis in Joliet as part of the Bluestem Festival. Residents are asked to bring confidential papers only between 10am and 1pm for on-site shredding. Residential materials only, no businesses.
