Many items we place in the garbage could be repaired and reused. Joliet Junior College is offering a chance for residents to bring items to a FREE event to explore repair options on Saturday, April 13 at their Romeoville Campus.

The White Oak Library StemFest makes environmental education fun for the whole family. They will be offering hands on activities Saturday, April 13. Will County's environmental educator will be there with live worms, along with 40 more exhibitors.

The C.A.R.E. organization has invited Will County's Recycling Specialist and past-president of the Illinois Recycling Foundation to offer a presentation covering curbside collection, drop-off and hazardous item services for all interested residents on Earth Day.. Bring your questions, even a photo of an item you just can't figure out to determine the best options.

FREE Health and Safety Expo 5:00pm-7:00pm Visit approximately 50 organizations from the health, safety, fitness, preparedness and emergency response industries. Touch a Truck in parking lot.
Severe Weather Spotter Training 7:00pm-8:30pm The training provides those in attendance with information on what to look for during severe weather season.
