Recycle unwanted electronics and small scrap metal items. No appointment is required. Located near the intersection of Black Rd and Route 59. Please enter from Vertin Blvd, to Capista Drive, and make a right onto Gregory.

Textile Collection at the County Office Building parking lot Monday through Friday during normal business hours. This event will accept clean clothing, blankets, tablecloths, linens, drapes, towels, shoes, and more. Bring clean items for reuse and recycling. Please no items containing mud, mold, or other contamination! See Scott Slocum from WJOL AM1340 on Friday morning 5:30am-9:00am. No appointment is required.

Collection of nearly all types of electronics and household chemicals, hazardous materials and liquids. There is a limit of 3 TVs per vehicle, maximum 15 gallons of paint, and maximum of 15 light bulbs per vehicle. We offer service to all Will County residents and all residents of any communities partially within Will County.

Residents are invited to bring books to share or recycle to this three day event at the Pilcher Park Nature Center (2501 Highland Park Drive in Joliet). This event is FREE of charge and a great place to find children's books as well as many more! No appointment is required.

Many items we place in the garbage could be repaired and reused. Joliet Junior College is offering a chance for residents to bring items to a FREE event to explore repair options on Saturday, April 18 at their Romeoville Campus.
