Collection of nearly all types of electronics and household chemicals, hazardous materials and liquids. All participants are asked to make an appointment. Appointments will not be taken after NOON on Friday, prior to the event. There is a limit of 2 TVs per vehicle and ID required. We offer service to all Will County residents and ALL residents of any communities partially within Will County.

Please be aware that Will County implemented an appointment system last year to improve participant's experience. The system is intended to provide predictable lines and smoother service. However, no appointments will be taken after NOON on Friday, March 22 in anticipation of the event on Saturday. If you are unable to make an appointment, please come after 1pm on Saturday to:

Please be aware that people with appointments will be given preference in line.

Electronic Items Accepted include: Televisions (limit 2), Computers, laptops, tablets, notebooks, monitors, printers, copiers, mice, speakers, cameras, video cameras, telephones, answering machines, microwaves, radios, stereos, vacuum cleaners, toaster ovens, blenders (no glass), coffee makers (no glass), power tools, etc. 

HHW Items Accepted include: All types of paints/stains, Old/Unwanted medication, Paint thinners, Solvents, Drain cleaners, Cleaning products, Rechargeable batteries, Mercury & mercury items, Aerosol paints & pesticides, Lawn & garden chemicals and fertilizers, Used oil, Used oil Filters, Old gasoline, Antifreeze, Automotive/ Boat batteries, Fluorescent light bulbs, Compact fluorescent bulbs, Pool chemicals, Driveway Sealer

 

Items NOT Accepted include: Fireworks/ Explosives, Agricultural wastes, Fire extinguishers, Ammunition (check with your local police department), Radioactive material, Institutional wastes, Controlled substances, Alkaline batteries, Business wastes, Regular garbage, Tires, Smoke/CO detectors, Medical waste/Sharps, Gas cylinders, Appliances, Dehumidifiers.
