Textile Collection at the County Office Building PARKING LOT on Friday 8am-2pm, This event will accept clean clothing, blankets, tablecloths, linens, drapes, towels, shoes, boots, sneakers, and more. Bring items for reuse and recycling.
Recycle old shoes, clothes, and other textiles at the County Office Building PARKING LOT on Friday from 8am to 2pm. A local non-profit is assisting with the distribution items in good condition and recycling "clean" items. This event is offered to raise awareness of the to keep millions of pounds of reusable goods from reaching landfills each year.
This event will accept the following clean items in good or torn, stained and poor condition:
Clothing, Coats, Shirts, Pants, Dresses, Skirts, Jackets, Sweaters, Shoes, Boots, Sneakers/Gym Shoes, Socks, Hats, Neckties, Gloves/Mittens, Drapes, Curtains, Table linens, Bedding, Sheets, Pillow Covers, Blankets, Towels, and fabrics of any kind.
Items with mold, mud, or other dirt will NOT be accepted.
A truck will be onsite in the parking lot with a table where all clothing and other textile items may be placed.
