Water Conservation is a Grand Slam with the Slammers

01:05 PM - 04:00 PM

DuPage Medical Group Field - home of the Slammers
1 Mayor Art Schultz Drive
Joliet, IL, 60432

Will County and the City of Joliet have teamed up with the Slammers to offer plenty of ways to score by reducing water use. Free giveaways for all and chances to win some valuable prizes throughout the game. Admission cost reduced to $8 with the code WATER. When you enter the Joliet Route 66 Stadium at DuPage Medical Group Field for the game, you’ll receive a pledge card to turn in to be entered in 8 raffles!

Water use is a serious concern in Joliet and throughout Will County. The quality and quantity of our acquifers as well as the energy used to transport water from them or from Lake Michigan make the reduction in water use a win-win for all of us!

On Sunday, July 21, the Slamers are helping make water conservation fun with a unique theme to their game supported by a variety of local governments, non-profit organizations and businesses within Will County. There will be information booths on the concourse for fans to learn more, and everyone who enters will receive a water saving device to install at home after the game!

During the game, everyone that turns in their Pledge to Reduce Water will be entered to win valuable prizes from Rain Barrels to one of the highest ranked energy and water efficient dishwashers on the market!

In addition the Slammers offer kids free face painting, a free bounce house, and when the game ends, kids may run the bases and get full team autographs!

Sponsors include:

City of Joliet, Will County, Beko (appliance manufacturer in Bolingbrook), The Conservation Foundation, the Forest Preserve of Will County, the Home Depot, and more!
