Recycling foam plastic, scrap wood, carpet, carpet padding, electronics, donating clothing, textiles and home goods, book drive, food drive, scrap metal collection, Household Hazardous Waste collection, Job Fair, Health Fair and more! (Carpet will NOT be accepted this year due to poor market conditions.)
Sharefest brings people together in a variety of ways that serve the community. Stop by on Saturday to participate in one or more opportunities. Recycling foam plastic (also known as Styrofoam @) through Dart, scrap wood (included painted, treated and with nails) through K Hoving, electronics through Vintage Tech, carpet and carpet padding through K Hoving, donate clothing, textiles and home goods to Goodwill, enjoy a book drive for yourself or as a donation to a local hospital and the Reading Tree, food drive for the Food Pantry, scrap metal collection with revenue to benefit Sharefest activities through All American Recycling, Household Hazardous Waste collection through Will County, donate blood or get screenings at the Health Fair and more!
Volunteer for the ShareFest Reuse/Recycling event on Sat, Sept 13. Various time slots available from 2-4 hours or the whole day! Volunteers needed from 7:45am-3:30pm at Spencer School Campus 1711 S. Spencer Rd New Lenox, IL.
